Thanks. I just found the gear ratios of the 4BX too and it's the same as you say.

Hacker C40-12L is 36mm diameter. It is quite long though at 63mm, but I think I can shoehorn it in just.

Well I've been doing some voltage calculations. Looks like 6S would be better given 10.26:1 final ratio and 2.2" wheels. That would give about 34 MPH. Is that a sane speed for a buggy like this?

It just so happens I have two 3S 2600 packs that should fit the 4BX battery positions. :)
