It is too expensive indeed. Then again, for the size, and even considering the production volumes of lots of RC parts, they cost alot, ALOT more than what they are worth. FastLaneMachine is pretty good cost wise, considering it's CNC machined, aluminum, and moderate production volumes.

Gorillamaxx can reduce their prices alot and still make a very good profit. They say on their website that they re-invest into their company for research & design.... yah, come on, how much investment does it take to make that stuff? For something that is inherently relatively weak. They can make make a much stronger chassis with a 50 gram increase, IMO. I mean what's 50 grams overall the entire vehicle? :032: Not much, you definitely would not notice it.
