i'm looking at a very large, very nicely machined piece of 7075 aluminum with a titanium coating, for less than the cost of this mount. a whole chassis! it's the traxxas upgrade chassis for the jato. waaaaay more work went into the chassis plate, it has more material to it, and has higher quality materials (the ti coating). granted, traxxas has them produced in much higher quantities which helps keep the cost down, but sheesh.

so i too agree that it's too expensive for what it is. even though i bought it. :rolleyes:
