running man- onroad brushless - 08.24.2005, 03:22 PM

I am considering a 1/10 onroad or 1/8 onroad / rally car. Lets say YOU wanted to build up an onroad that could take a slight beating form time to time, was powered by lipo's and a brushless (of course), and could do 90 on a very smooth very flat road with some degree of 'control'. Obviously you dont have much control, but with a good onroad set up, you could get it to run a large oval track at least... so?? how would you do it?

I am thinking about this as a future project when money allows and when my pede has disintegrated. It would not be a 'basher', just a sweet ride that flew. Has anyone here dabbled with this type of set up?

maybe this belongs in general discussion, but the focus is on the motor, the powerplant.

Thanks!
