Is it just me, or is there something wrong with the contents? I can open the zip file (with WinRAR) but get errors when opening/extracting...

that high voltage controler should be what some have been wanting, dont know about brakes, but 90v and 250 amps seems like enough for a few of the crazies around here

Hmm wonder is the wireless technology can be employed on the input stage as well as the output stage? That way the battery would not be required, just beam it to the esc directly from a wall socket. We could also leave the esc in a box on the bench and then just beam power to the motor. All good ideas, everybody get to work.

But it sounds as though you would need some sort of directional auto tracking antenna to keep the beam concentrated at the car. It would also be very good for getting rid of small pests. I wonder if lead pants and a tin foil hat will be included.

I'll take one. I'll also take one of those "Control Freak" t-shirts...
Don't get me started on that brushless control line ban in SF because old folks were getting dizzy and falling over... I personally don't care about either one, it's the fact that our governing bodies feel the need to "protect" us from these rediculous incidents.

I'm going to go ahead and play my blonde card- Sammus thinks it's all an april fools joke, seemed like a legit write up to me, yes he says, "jigahertz" could be a typo or inside joke. Am I missing something? Have I really been fooled. I hate doubting myself. No one would take an april fools joke that far. Somebody tell me I haven't been fooled. If I have I may as well read the magazines at the grocery checkout.

Castle has developed a new wireless technology to connect the motor with the controller. “This system operates in the 2.4 jigahertz range,” says Chief Engineer Patrick del Castillo, “
