1:10 buggy wing - 04.29.2008, 10:14 AM

I have a 1:10 4wd buggy kit on theeway and already know I will thrash the lexan wing it comes with. are there any 1:10 buggy wings made from plastics like the prolines?

Crt.5 wing is the smallest I have seen so far. It may work for ya!

that may be perfect. I forgot about the crt.5 thx. I just need more durable than lexan. I will bash this buggy, not race and I actually want it to serve a protection service as well as provide downforce.

Hey DickyT how are the projects going? You putting a wing on your crawler? JK What's the buggy you got on the way?

The neighbor asked if I wanted to buy his 2.5 Jato at the same time I was looking for a truggy to buy and convert. So I went a little cheaper on the truggy with the Duratrax Raze ST truggy and got the Jato also. No experience with truggies or nitros, but pretty impressed so far with both of them. I am getting better at being a newbie, all over again. You guys have probably already been there and done the nitro side of the hobby. I wanted to see what its like so I will play with them and decide to convert or not at the end of summer (if summer ever gets here). I'll also save all my complaints and dislikes about nitro until the end of summer. I was wondering about a smaller wing. I adapted the revo wing mount for the Jato all I had was the proline wing and it looks pretty big on there. Thanks for the tip Linc.

Just came across your other thread about your new buggy DickyT. Very Nice.

Thanks Gee, that kit should arrive tomorrow according to fedex. I can not wait to start building it.

My cms5700 is on it's last legs, needs bearings, what motor should I get for this little thing to run on 2s and 3s?

You must be asking lincpimp about the motor because I am still playing pin the tail on the donkey with brushless motors. I just picked up a Feigao 12s for the rustler when I broke the shaft on my 7700. It does great on 3s but wouldn't recommend it with 2s. It's nice to be able to throw a 4s in once in a while. You going the inexpensive route or doing it right the first time on the motor?
