Exclamation I Want G-revo!!!!! - 09.25.2005, 10:17 PM

lol! im just got some questions bout the g-revo thing. How much is it gunna cost? cuz if its too expensive, ima covnert it dafni style. Also, i saw the pics of it on the traxxas, and it looks really nice. How many cells can u hook up on that thing? Whens it comming out?

PS. Mike, u dont look like the way i imagined u to be. U look real stern and intense. Unlike the laid-back mike we all come ot love!

Hey, it was hot as hell at the event. Don't let the face fool you! I am pretty intense when I race, but in the pits I am as calm and laid back as they come. The picture does somewhat make me look like an angry man, though! :)
The g-revo is headed to production. I am working on the driveshafts for it so they can be included in the kit. The price should be similar to the limited edition g-maxxes. It holds 8 cells flat per side. Up to 15 cells per side if you stack them.

thought you might have been working on the single eye/eye brow like the rc-monster. ;) j/k

the shirt could be another marketing ploy too. Big ol' avatar on the back would get my attention.

on a serious note, I couldn't fit eight cells with the servos in place on the G2 chassis. Is this uncommon? I'm wondering if I would have the same problem with the GMaxx Revo setup.

What pics on the Traxxas site are you talking about?? Did Slayden his promised write up?? Where?

Mike, you really look stern in that pic.... was this before or after your 10L blew up? :p j/k

Edit: Nevermind, I saw the pics. They must have up-dated this article lately.

Hey Mike, your last name by any chance Meloni? Separated at birth!!! :L:

All kidding aside, a Gevo or G Revo or whatever it is would be real cool, kinda get the whole electric Revo thing out there to the real world.

I'm happy to hear they are in production. I only race my revo so I am debating whether I should get a carbon fiber version or not

This seems to have a strange implication to those that have been running electric Revos for almost a year now. I'd kinda like to think that I've been living in the Real world and Johnny everyday has been living in the dark ages, of smelly nitro... ;)

I'm definetly onboard with the g-revo conversion. I've been a fan of the xbrace chassis for quite some time. I think that I will get a complete g-revo conversion so I can have two electric revo's

I thought the same, Starscream. A lot of people who have seen our trucks here want to do the same. This says alot, don't you think?

Ja, I'll keep my "old" one, too. At firts I thought about selling it, but I will definitely keep it. Bolt some LT rockers and big wheels on, and use it for bashing. And keeping the G-Revo as race-oriented as possible.
I'll get the Alu version, btw. Much easier to modify plates and stuff. And I already have a spare G-2 maxx chassis.

It's a Lehner. Your assumption sounds correct, though.

Mike mentioned the price in his post, btw.

So what you trying to say is a bout $220- 230 for chassis kit. Nothing personal mike. You don't look very tall in the pic. Then again alot of people don't to me. Just thought you would be bigger. :D

Peace!

He got me be a couple inches. Can;t look down at every one. LOL
For some reason I just thought mike was tall. Not really a big guy. Not sure why you get these imagines of people when you never see them.
Size does mater when it comes to motor. The bigger badder motor is the one you need. :D
