Piktor Rush 2 factory bl buggy

Look at this beauty of a buggy! Our French friends across the pond Piktor, have decided to join the factory brushless game. I've seen pictures of the nitro rush 2, and thought it was nice... but this is just beautiful. The layout is similar to a few of the conversions floating around here & the castor factory e-buggy.

although it does look very nice and will be a step forward in rc i think it will spoil it for the people that have conversions... half the fun must be knowing your car is unique
kinda like the rock crawler guys when rtr crawlers started coming

well hopefully they will be popular and we might see some electric 8th classes at our local tracks

Yes, that's true. Although it makes custom conversions less unique, there are a lot of upsides to this trend.

- You can take pride in the fact that you were one of the people who were on ground zero when the 1/8th electric craze started.

- Mike and the other oldschool guys can take pride in the fact that they literally created a new class in r/c.

It's nice to see all this factory buggies coming out. I said before they could've done a better job though then just converting them like most of use are already doing.

Starting a new design from ground up is very risky. Xray was close to do it with the 808 with so much change in 1 years.
That sometime I'm thinking to use a 1/10 scaled up to 1/8 (most likely a B44 or a TRF501). It will be probably much lighter and offer a superior handling.

PS you have to love these clear shocks - Why don't they still exist! Not sure about the air them though!

I need confirmation from a (old) guy at my track who did race with Siccom car a lot . I think they were design to be used with a mix of air oil. I have seen one that did use a radiator hose to share oil between each shocks (in pair) !

The piktor is really nice, its a very clean conversion, i love the shock setup

I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. This business requires constant redefinition of the market-place, and the new factory electrics certainly presents a challenge for my market segment, but I haven't seen any of these offerings that are quite as good as our current conversions for starters, though some look pretty decent. The ones I have seen thus far look similar to conversions that have been around for a bit - no ground-breaking stuff just yet.
I do have more tricks up my sleave to keep myself afloat, though - count on that. :)

Like I told them . It's a bit pathetic that manufacturers came out with what seems to be copies of your conversions. Mike, I would like to know if you could do the long version of the truggy chassis I designed. I might go without battery trays and just use stand offs that will connect to the upper chassis and use a long thick piece of aluminum and stand offs again to hold the batteries down. I would like to beat jzemaxx's 80mph+ runs .

Les prix sont correcte pour une boutiques française, mais personnellement je reste fidèle a castle creation. Le rush il est fabriqué en France ou c'est du français chinois ?
