HB LS10 and HPI RS4 MT2 are they the same? - 11.07.2008, 10:37 PM

The more I look at the two of them the more they look a lot alike. I only have the LS10 so I am looking at the RS4 MT2 on paper. Looks like the chassis are almost the same. As far as the size they are real close. The RS4 is slightly bigger. The RS4 uses a 7mm dogbone and cups vs the LS10's 6mm. It also uses the larger bearing in axial carries. The RS4 is only listed for $10 more then the LS10 on tower. What gives here? Anyone got got the RS4 MT2 or has had one?

With them being so much alike. Do you think the RCM LS10 motor mount and the center differential setup could be used on the RS4?
