CRT.5 owners...what are you running for tires? - 09.04.2008, 07:23 PM

I am looking for opinions on the best bash tire and the best all around track tire. The truck has Mike's 40mm ext. chassis kit, so I will be using 1/10 tires..

Thanks

I use Panther's slick tires for the street and ProLine's Lugnuts tires for offroad.

The name is Alawi. You can call me Al.

I use traxxas rustler 2.2 front rims with proline gladiator tires all the way around, work great on and off road.

I have some axial rockstar beadlocks with some proline dirt hawgs at the moment. I haven't had time to test them, just jaunts around the lawn.

I have a few different sets I run. Ran the stock bowties for a bit but didn't want to destroy them so I searched for others. I wanted the 2.2 anacondas but my lhs only had 1 set so I decided to give the slash tires a try. They work pretty decent, more ground clearance, better if going through any grass, great all around tire. I did wind up ordering 2.2 anacondas and they're great on ashpalt, but suck for anything else.

My favorite would have to be HPI Yokohoma Geolandars. These tires are great on the street with excellent tread life, and function decently on other surfaces as an all-terrain tire.
