traxxas slash and mamba max

traxxas slash and mamba max - 11.09.2008, 10:29 PM

i have a slash 2 wheel drive truck with a mamba maxx with 6900kv motor and lipo 7.4v 5000mah battery,what is the best setting to get it to hookup at the dirt track,can you slow the hole thing down in the settings on the computer or should i just use a 7.2v nimah battery

Too much punch control sucks as it makes it difficult to time throttle and to recover from jumps etc...

Easy on the trigger finger and a slower motor! I'd look at a medusa 50mm 3300 kv

the slash is hard to control with the stock setup let alone a brushless 6900.
go way down - like the 4200 motor from castle or less.
