radio batteries

so far i've just been using normal alkaline AA batteries for use in my spektrum dx3, as i liked having 12v over 9.6v for the increased range. but im getting sick of replacing the batteries so im in the market for some rechargable ones.

can anyone recommend me some nice batteries and a fast charger for my radio?

Walmart has 4 energizer 2500mah AA and a charger for about $20, not a fast charger though. Generally speaking none of the AA rechargeables like a real fast charge, 2-3 hours is the fastest I'd charge them. Or just buy the batteries and use your RC charger. Easy to use a receiver pack and plug it into your RC charger, set it for about 1Amp and wait.
