Need help on a Brushless setp Please

OK so i just need to know the best setup so i can buy it and not have to upgrade in 6 months here is what i have on truck

UE Lightning Chassis
UE VBS with 8 spyder
UE 8mm CVDs
the tranny i put in Hardened steel idler gear
strobe slipper and sponge


i need a motor speed control and batteries please tell me what you would BUY and i will hope mike has them in stock happy holidays everyone and thank you

is this a monster truck? it sounds like it.

i think everyone will tell you to get the new Castle Creations MMM 2200kv combo with motor and speed control. it sells for $279 to $299 depending on where you buy. it is probably the best setup for MT conversions.
as for a battery you have several good options. lately everyone here on the forum has been saying that these are the best. http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/mai...an=ELT&cat=E35

for the 2200kv setup you can run 4s, 5s, or 6s. just a matter of how fast you want to go. i would run at least 5s and at least 5000mah. but whatever you decide this setup cant be beat in terms of quality, price, performance, and product support. you will be blown away by how badass this setup will be. good luck.

What I read:

I cant be bothered to figure anything out for myself and just want instant answers as to 'what am best setup?' without providing any clues as to what my exact plans or budget are.

I have a name for people like this, and its aint polite, so I'll just give the standard response:

MMM 2200kv combo
2x 2s 25-35c 5000mah lipos (reliable and fast) or 2x3s 25-35c 5000mah lipos (reliable but nuts).

As for batteries...I only use flightpower or thunderpower so I can't really speak to the other brands. NeuEnergy certainly also has to be a good pick considering the quality of their motors. Your chassis is set up for one pack on each side so you could either go with two 2S 5000mah packs (in series for 4S) or if you want a rocket, go with two 3S 5000mah packs (in series for 6S).

But if you go with the 6S, then I'd recommend using the Neu 1515/2.5D 1700Kv motor. IMO.
