First, decide on 3 or 4s. I have 2 crt.5....one is run on 2s which is my daughter's. The other is mine which I run on 3s and it screams! Mike sells some nice batts here of all shapes and sizes.

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S
3. MBX-5 ONROAD CONVERSION 1515, MMM ON 5S
4. MRX-3 ON ROAD CONVERSION 1512, MMM ON 6S
5. TEN T 2650 T8, MMP ON 3S

youll want a 3s with the 9L, something in the 2500-5000 range, the lower the mah the higher C rating youll need ill be using a 9L and 3s 3200 flightpower 30c pack, mike has plenty of 3s lipos to choose from from 2500-5000mah but you might want to wait a couple weeks if you can until he gets his new shipment of lipos in and youll have a MUCH larger selection....

You don't need a ext bec for 3s, unless you want one

looks good so far! I'd love to do a .5 conversion. They look like they pack a big package for their size.

Don't you run that setup on your Rustler? With the internal BEC, or no?

you do unless you want slow servos and high temps.... havent you seen the test of the internal bec output on the mm on 3s, it wont even handle a decent servo and the temperatures are considerbly higher.....

If you use an external 6v battery pack this is doing the same job as a bec (so no external bex required)...

Remember to remove the red wire from MM to RX though if using a battery pack or bec.
