Any interest ?. - 12.08.2009, 04:43 PM

Im trying to get a little extra spending money . So i was wondering if there would be any interest in a pinion tree if i started making them ?. Here is what they would look like . The pinion is a mod 1 5mm bore pinion . I can also make them for 1/8 bore pinion's . I would also like to know what would it be worth to you ?.

As it is I'd only pay a few dollars - maximum

I use a clear plastic segmented box anyway, it would take a stupidly good deal to get me buying one

I've seen these for sale for about $3-4, though those are 1/8" bore models. The basic design is fine, but I'd actually like to see a more compact design (pez dispenser?...).

I can make them like the second one i posted ( but they would be 5mm bore or 1/8 bore your choice) for under $10.00 shipped in the US only . They would have 7 pins total . There would be 4 pins on one side & 3 pins on the other . If your interested please PM me . I would have to order some supplys to make them . So i would like to know how many would be interested in these .

Mods if this is not cool please feel free to delite .

Personally, I would just make them myself as it doesn't look too hard to do. Other than that, I would charge at or just under what you can get elsewhere unless there are other features on yours to justify a price increase.

Also, if you do start making them, I would discuss with Mike about how you plan to sell them here. Just out of respect ya know?

I know rpm makes plastic case that are about $9 but only for 1/8th" shafts. I also have another brand that looks like your first pictures for 1/8th" and I think those are about $10.
