Brushed motor tricks - 01.06.2010, 10:16 PM

^^^^^^ beat me to it

theres nothing you can do unless you want to cut the can to adjust the timing

put dry ice on the motor right before your race, the colder the magnets the stronger they are itll be noticably fast at the begining of the race, keep the bushing lubed and keep your com as clean as possible (spary after every race and relube.

new motor, underwater break in, spray after every race, lube bushings after spray then replace with brushless

E-revo 3.3 conversion, 249kv outrunner, 6s, MMM

I'v heard of mike reedy or someone putting the dry ice in him motor before the race. Any special fluids to make the motor pop(I do motor spray it after each race but anything else)?

brushed motors are pretty basic as far as sealed cans go dry ice is about the only magic trick there is for those motors, but now if you had an open endbell and didnt mind the maintanance then you can really make the things stockers scream with the right gearing and constant attention.....

Yea it sucks that were limited to closed endbell motors for the stock spec...I don't think bring a thing of dry ice to the track is going to work either. The track will probably say its not safe or some bs reason.
