Hot Racing Knuckles - 09.16.2010, 10:07 PM

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with HR Knuckles? I busted a rear carrier and I know I can get more stockers on ebay cheap, But I was also checking these out: http://www.hot-racing.com/index.cgi?...RVO21M08;c=431

Anyone with experience? Thank You.

Silver hd bearing steering knuckle

I thought these would help the slop from the pillow ball holders from backing out after a bash as well...

I was using the old 3906 Integy aluminum knucks on the rear of my Maxx. Never had a problem with those. Only issue might be, where you'd pop a knuckle before, with the alum carriers the next victim would be A arms or bulks.

Ive got the FLM lower arms and RPM Uppers. and GA Bulks. I think the Pillowball would bend... But still I am more concerned with the slop that develops with the plastic around the bearing area IE STRETCHING... It get sloppy and wobbles the wheel. Secondly the Pillowball retainers always back out. Maybe tap the carrier and use set screw?

Teflon tape worked a charm for that on my Maxx.

If you bash hard these might be worth a look
http://www.impaktrc.com/product_info...roducts_id=364
They include a 17mm hex but it rides on an 8mm axle they have set screws for the pillow ball holders and have aluminium reinforcing to make sure the pillow balls dont pop

they are designed to work with the stock driveshafts they replace the stock axle with an 8mm one they may work with cvds the pin setup would have to be similar to the stockers
