6S capable brushed ESC????? - 10.24.2010, 10:17 AM

Hi guys. Trying to do something for a friend with his E-Revo. Short story he toasted his EVX-2 and now needs a new ESC to turn his DeWalt motor. A while ago I saw a brushed ESC that could run up to 6S lipo and also had a LVC. Do you think I can find it now? I tried every posible combination of words in the Google search but came up empty. Do any of you guys know of a such ESC?

You have 3 options...

MMM or MM Pro (which will do brushless to) or my preferred crawler ESC the Holmes Hobbies BR-XL!

As this is for a Revo I would get a MMM (Mamba Monster Max) - This way if you want to go brushless in the future you can.

Check out the RC-Monster store... (Please!)

Thats the one Arct1k. Thanks man.

Oh yeah, don't worry about me. I am brushless all the way but my firend is stuck in the stone age. You should see how hard I had to beat him just to try lipos in his truck. He allowed me to fit a dewalt motor to it but he somehow managed to kill the EVX-2 when the insulation moved from the motor wires and the + and - touched. So I thought since it needs a new speedy might as well get the lipo capable one. This time it will have one piece wires soldered from the ESC to the motor. No connectors.

Anyway it says it is for a crawler set up (BEC looks very impressive) but is it going to be fine on a Revo with a dewalt motor geared for about 30-35mph? Sorry if it is a stupid question but I went straight from nitro (oops, I said a dirty word) to brushless and completely skipped brushed. I only started to brushed research since I started to work on his truck.
