uses for a Lehner 3080/15 and 3080/30 - 11.28.2011, 05:13 AM

hey guys, what application would be good for these? boats or cars? I havent considered 5th scale until now, but might be a good opportunity if these high wind lehners are suitable

I like my Lehner so far. put out around 160a, exactly what Lehner rated it. thats a 6s motor in a savage. thing goes like stink

I dunno about a HV esc, I think you'll need a FHV one...

I'd be more inclined to sell the motors really, they are worth about $600 each ( new )- easily enough to buy you a 'proper' 1/5 scale esc and motor for a conversion...

holly crap didnt realize they are that low of kv. who in their right mind would run a motor like that?

The 350kv model may be a decent e-bike motor running on 72v...

The 175kv one would need twice that voltage to be useful, and if you're running 144v, you're probably running it in something that needs an even larger motor. Although, it might be decent for an e-scooter...
