GS Storm SUT Conversion? - 08.24.2005, 03:24 PM

Has anyone thought about this or done this? IT looks like a durable platform and I found a steal of a deal on one. What do you all think? Will a lehner 2400xl on 12 cells do it justice?

Thanks, I remember serum having done one?

My bad, I didn't realize the lack of a plastic spur. But if anyone is looking for a GS Storm SUT Pro roller, some guy is selling one for $200!

That's a good deal! Anyways, a Feigao 7XL might be a better choice, on 14-16 cells.

Have a look at this thread:

We had a little discussion on hardened steel pinions against steel spurs.

No, i did a HB lightning..

But i am avoiding the metal to metal gears now.. ;)

Perhaps you are able to fit in a Ofna diff (the ones that carry the plastic 51 tooth gear?) i fitted a Kyosho spur on the HB diff, (red plastic) but that needed some work to make it a 1 on 1 fit..
