Quark 125B wont setup - 03.21.2008, 08:15 PM

Quark 125b Wont set up from intial startup. All I get is a red light. Its setup for 3s and a neu 1512 1.5d motor with a 3s maxamps battery.Everything is setup properly.I called Quark and talked with JoJo he told me to turn the esc on first and hold the button then turn on the transmitter.Well if you have a quark 125b the instructs say to turn the transmitter on first then hold the button on the esc and turn the esc on.Well when I do that there are no chimes just the red light and thats only when you hold the button down.Could it be my battery wires? My 3s battery is fully charged.I am using a spectrum 2.4 ghz radio.I have been running a mambamax with no problems. This esc is the second Quark 125b I have owned the first burnt to a crisp when it shorted out so this is a replacement.

Use a receiver pack to get it set up.

A bec should work as well. If the esc powers up before the spektrum makes a link (can happen with some esc's), then the esc never "sees" the receiver.

Ok there is no bec I am running 3s with a neu 1512/1.5d/s and the Monster pro doesnt set up at all from the initial first setup its not the receiver.I had another 125b set up before on this receiver.all it does in the first set up is the red light only comes on when you hold the button after the transmitter is on and you hold the esc setup button.Nothing else no chimes no blinking light no chimes. And its not advanced setup
