Flightpower Balancer problem - 03.23.2008, 12:15 PM

I just got my Flightpower balancer and it includes the connection cables for a 2s, 3s, and 6s, well I am planning on running 5s, I have looked all over the net for a company that sells them, including the Flightpower web site, and have found none. If there are any companies that do sell the 5s connector a link would be great.

Does anybody have any expierence with the Flightpower Balancer, and also on the right side of the balancer there is a pos and neg lead coming out of the balancer next to where the balancer port is...What is this for?

The balancer charges thru the main leads of the battery, not the balance tap, hence the addl set of leads on the tap side. It is a really nice balancer, I love mine. The 2s and 3s are part of the 6s adapter on mine, and I have another couple of harness which appear to be for 4s and 5s. I bought nime used though. Have you tried flightpower's website?

thier web site wasn't much help, I finally found the link to the U.S distributors and Duralite batteries and the link to the high rate connectors was dead...I might have to break down and call them on the phone...

How many adapters did you get with it? Mine came with 3, one that has 2 plugs for 2s, 3s, and 6s, one for 4s (single plug) and one for 5s (single plug)

I did get 3 sets of adapters with mine, I didn't know that the one that has 2 plugs on it does the 2s, 3s, and 6s ....so I will assume that the other 2 sets do the 4s and 5s...that is better

with the leads that go to charge the pack, mine has a male bullet connector on one and a female on the other , I was thinking of clipping those off and putting on a male Deans connector, I thought theier packs come with no connector. So I thought this was odd
