looking to purchase lipo today! -

will 1 bigmaximum with schulze 18.97 esc work with 2 5s 5000mah LIPO batts?....i have the dual setup now but do not seem to be able to harness the HORSES!....if i have to drop a motor i do not want 2-$250 batts laying around that i cant use!.....I AM LOOKOING FOR ADVISE!.....I STILL CANT DECIDE WHICH BATTS TO GET?

you could 2 packs in parallel, then you would have the equivalent of a 10,000mah 5s pack. However, I don't think the 18.97 will hold up to 10s without spectacularly exploding...

So are you going to remove one of the pletts and run a single setup ? Or were you thinking of keeping the dual ESC's and using a 5s on each one ?
Need to know how you intend to hook these up before making recommendations.

JST-XH is the most standard plug in that all the chinese brands use it. That said, all the "big" brands have their own plug style which is pretty annoying. In short, to use that plug you would need the hyperion -> XH balance plug converter, which seems to be sold out in every store I've managed to find that stocks hyperion gear. Either that or just get some 7 pin hyp plugs and rewire your batts.

its about time you go lipo! and you can't remove a pletty until we have video of the dual setup! Did you shear the roll pin of the input shaft? replace that weak pin with an allen wrench or drill bit, the tool grade steel lasts much better
