Vid: GorillaMaxx Revo - 05.24.2008, 01:30 PM

Hi folks,

Just wanted to post up a video of my Recent e-revo build:

Specs:
GorillaMaxx G3R Chassis
GorillaMaxx Single speed tranny
Castle Mamba Monster
Feigao 10XL Motor

Geared for 20T/66 (will bump to 22T eventually). I originally tried a 26T but I was hitting the LCV. Wasn't very motor efficient.

Running with 2 3s A123 packs.

It's pretty zippy. GPS clocked it at 32.5mph on the 20T gear, 34.5 on the 26T. I only ran it about half throttle on the track while I'm getting used to driving a monster truck.

I think they shot that video at the same time. If you look at the very beginning of Sleebus' video, you can see the truck. Either that, or there are two vehicles with very similar paintjobs at very similar tracks.

Yup. We know each other and usually do all our R/C bashing together (convenient we also live near each other and are co-workers).

I filmed his video and he filmed mine. :) I also do all the editing.

Cool Video.. I wish a had a place like that to beat my truck on.. I liked when you rear body unclipped and the truck was standing up and then BANG you got it going again without missing a heart beat.. The slow mo jumping was cool as well.. It's good see you getting your money out your build..

have a great one and thanks for sharing..

Nothing!.. Hahahahaaa..
