Keep or trade Losi 8ight -
05.15.2008, 03:08 PM
What do you guys think.. I have a Losi 8ight roller that I was going to sell but I have a deal pending to make the Losi 8ight run with a mach 427 and trade it for a B44 with a Novak brushless setup on it.. Do you think this is a wise trade? I am always so indecisive.. Not really a buggy fan but I could always put the brushless stuff in a 1/10th scale truck..
what do you think should I get the B44?

I wouldn't trade a good-quality 1/8 buggy for a 1/10 buggy. 1/8 is way more fun, and theyre much more durable. Converting the Losi 8ight is the best option if you can afford it IMO.

I would keep it as well. I agree with metalman, 1/8 is better than 1/10 IMO.

As of right now I do.. I have the losi 8ight rtr buggy and the 8ight-t race roller which I am converting..
I am not a buggy fan but the b44 looks fun to play with for a while and I think as a resell I could get more out of the b44 than a rtr losi 8ight.. this is just for the car.. no radio equip

well in that case why not IMO the more variety the better. that is the only way to really see what you like and dont like.

Well losing money really is what you think is losing money. to one person something can be worth worth quite a bit more than to another. if you feel it is a good deal then do it. I am not sure what a b44 is worth nor a 8 roller so i can not really suggest one way or the other. I can only suggest that you do what you feel is the best alternative. usually your first feeling is the best one to go with.

Couldn't you convert it to and eight-t fairly easy?
I would do that before trading it for a tenth scaler.

1/10 buggies are no were near as durable as the 1/8 but if you already got 1 which you are converting, suppose it would make sense to trade from the B44
