Racing with A123 cells - 05.17.2008, 06:11 PM

Would A123 cells be suitable for racing? Would they be too heavy?

a123's are great cells to bash with, but if you're serious about racing, they are heavier than lipo and also slightly lower voltage. You'd be spotting your competition an advantage to start with.

If you're a way better driver than your competition, this may not be that big of a deal.

you can charge them real real quick which may be nice depending on the type of races you do.

instead of having multiple packs you can just have one.
