help with range problem -

Ever since i went with 8xl/9920 i have been having severe range problems. At 100yds. I lose all control. I have stock rx/tx. Is there anything i can do to correct this without upgrading rx/tx? I also have a bec.

Put the antenna and receiver as far away from any high current wires as possible like the motor wires and power wires.
