O'Donnell Buggy Due 1st August - 07.05.2008, 12:19 AM

Well I think this is the most expensive buggy on the market ($649.99 making it more than Kyosho ) and probably doesn't come with wheels or tyres. Anyone looking at getting one?

Doesn't look like anything special to me. I'll stick with my SH ZMXB-8 buggy, it's LOADED with innovative features, at $200 less.

Lol, I have yet to break my buggy as well. I haven't driven it as roughly as I used to drive other RCs, guess that's a benefit of having driven RC for so long. And to think, I've got about $90 worth of spares for it...

I'll be interested in taking that 808 for a spin sometime at OCRC!

Rely on brand name to sell. I hope people are not blind, Kyosho did this a lot imho. I see nothing special on this car.
Best bang for buck will be hyper 9, Hobao is making good and sturdy car for years.
And 808 is a killer machine. You paid the price but the quality is there ...

James acctually he has been hooked up with odonell for years. He helped develop the car & other odonell products.

True, I mainly said that due to the fact that most of the 1/8 buggies are the same, and will all most likely perform very similar when driven by an exceptional driver like tebo. I am sure he has set the odonnell buggy up the way he likes it, and it will work well for him. I have no idea why it is so expensive, most likely cause it is new...

i thought the same thing. they all look pretty similiar except for small things that should not raise the price hundreds of dollars.
