Are ther any cvd's that will fit fastlane extended arms for the stampede.

The electric stampede CVD's should work. the word extended only refers to the nitro model. according to fastlane themselves

Don't the stampede and rustler have the same parts pretty much? I thinking about a rustler myself. I may have same deliema.

The electric stampede and electric rustler do share a bunch of parts. The entire front and rear ends match up (except for the skidplates on the stampede and the upper deck on the rustler).

I may be wrong on that statement and i take it back.

I remember reading that somewhere, but i can't remember where.

Fastlane makes the extended arms and standard length arms for the stampede. I have mip cvd's which I had on my stampede until I purchased the extended arm conversion and found that the cvd's are too short.
I e-mailed fastlane and they said they were working on finding cvd's that would fit their extended arm's but they have not provided any updates so I'm still running with the stock sliders for now.
Thanks for your replies, I guess I'll check with them again and just stock up on the stock sliders for now.

Welcome to the forum rkman.Is there a way to make ones to fit. It may be a little more money. but if it fits and works it saves money over the stock liders that you keep buying. I don't know much about the stampede so I can't be much help.

measure from the knuckle to the center of the pin that you need. may be someone can tell you what will work. also if the mips are female or male coupler joints.

Does some one tell me how much wider the extended arms make the pede?

The stock pede mip cvd is 90.7 mm long dog bone. If you add the extra length of the extended arm you get the length dog bone to swap in.

FLM actually makes 3 sets of arms for the pede/rustlers. The nitro arms(shortest of the bunch), the electric arms(same actual arms as the extended nitro arms, but different turnbuckles) and the electric extended arms(widest of the bunch and no cvds to fit). I use the standard electric arms, which include wider front arms to use the same wheels on the front and rear.

Hey mike. Can you swap the dog bones out with another mip dogbone to give you the right length? I just don't know what to look for.

Could you give me some length mike. It would help. I look for it. I can then post the parts needed. I can even email you the parts and maybe you can get them and market them. The stock mip dog bone mip posted was 90.7 long. I just don't have a clue how much longer it needs to be.

i have 4 sets of the FLM Stampede extended aluminum arms.

i purchased 2x sets labeled "Electric stampede extended aluminum arms." received 1x set in trade, which is identical.

now i received a full FLM electric rustler. the rear arms on this one are different, they are much wider, have braces at the end where the hub carriers are, and "fastlane machine" is engraved on them. so which version are these rear arms??? i will take some pics a little later. the front of the rustler is converted over to Nitro Rustler front c-hubs and knuckles.

i run the traxxas plastic slider shafts and steel output yokes on all. i have not twisted any of them as of yet (knock on wood), and i run some pretty hot setups:

1. SS5800 on 7cells.
2. hacker master comp. w/ lehner 5300 on 7cells.
3. schulze u-force 75 w/ lehner 5300 on 7cells.
4. Schulze 18.97 KWF w/ Nemisis 12s on 12cells (not completed yet - i do all of my own Carbon Fiber work) here is a preview of that one:
