I'll give you a quarter to do my soldering... and a beer after you're done.

Seriously though, I highly doubt you will get any requests from this site.... You'll have better luck on a forum like RCU or Traxxas where there are a bunch of noobs who don't know how to solder.

There's two sides to every schwartz, he got the up side and I got the down side.

Yeah I did my first solder repair about 5 mos ago on it.The first 1 I did is still going strong. Now they just started soldering the wires directly to the board so the issue is handled.

I believe it is impossible to do. I tried for 25 min. and never could do it. I just ended up sending it to traxxas, and they did it for free.

I could only get it to stick once and then it fell off while I was putting the case back on.

Of all of my VXLs I have only had 1 of the bullets fall off. The first time I just soldered it back onto the board, it lasted a few weeks(about 15-20 runs) then it came off again. The next time it came off it took a small piece of the board with it, so I soldered a wire that was long enough to reach outside the case to the board and then the bullet to the wire. Kinda like what Traxxas is doing to their replacements. That was about 4 months ago and it's been fine since then.

my solution to the POS VXL ESC was to buy a MM..it happened to me the first time I took out a VXL Rustler and I looked at the plug and saw that this is going to be an ongoing problem.....
