Novak or Losi fan + question - 06.29.2008, 04:41 PM

They both make 30mm ESC fans. I am in the market for one for my MM. Which do you prefer?
Losi: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/24816
Novak: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/21893
Also, I have a question on ESC fans in general: Does the fan have to be plugged into the battery slot on the RX or can I plug it into my auxiliary Ch. 3 slot? Also, if I want to run 2 fans for the ESC and motor, does the voltage drop by 1/2 on both of the fans if I plug them into one slot using a Y-splitter? Thanks for all your help in advance.

Voltage would only drop if you ran in series - you will be running in parrallel

I just use the y-adaptor from Traxxas REVO as they aren't really long like some others out there

It's a habbit. On some other forums, you can get it trouble for that even if you use 'slang' off mobile phones
