Question Hyperion DUO owners, need help - 07.30.2008, 12:43 AM

I've charge my both pack in same time tonight, and i've remark than during charging, on the chanel 2, the current display is realy not stable. Mycurrent was set to 2.5A, and the display always swing between 2.41 to 2.53.
On the chanel 1, the current display is realy more stable, play between 2.49 to 2.51.

And another proble, when the charging process is ended, and the display show "CC/CV END", on the chanel 2, the current show 0.00A, but on chanel 1, the current show 0.62A, and the charge was ended

Could you tell me if you experiment the same thing on your's please??

Thank you

I have the single 0610i charger it will do both of those things you mentioned as being potential problems...the listed current will move around a bit, the charger will turn it self off for a split second to check it self it will do this several times durin a charge, and when the charge ends sometimes it will show a small amount of current

I've order the both cable to download the V1.6 software. I'll try it.
And one thing that i don't know, is the way to plug the pack on this charger.
First, the main pack lead and second, the balancing harness.
I've always make it reverse

On the Hyperion web site, they said that don't follow this connexion order can damage the circuit

I experience similar things with my Duo too. You are fine David! The Hyperions will constantly monitor the packs and either go up or down in voltage depending on what they detect.

Yes but it's only on the channel 2 that did it, anyways if i switch the batterie between each chanel, it's only the chanel 2.

And it's only the chanel 1 that keep a little curent of 0.60 (or approximatively) when the CC/CV is ended.

I think that i'll don't charge any others packs on my charger before to upgrade to the V1.6 software.
And on the Hyperion website, they tell that when the firmeware was update, and we try to charge and balance a pack, if we have an error message, we don't must charge any pack on the charger yet, we must send it for replacement, because the output circuit is deffective

Ilike my baja SS....................
