mmm won't recalibrate...any ideas? - 07.31.2008, 10:03 PM

I changed a couple of settings and went to bench test...no brakes or reverse. Tried to recalibrate...throttle is ok but, no rev or brakes. I adjusted my throttle end point to 120%...still a no go. Any ideas?

no... I only adjusted the throttle curve a bit and punch control. I had the same problem the first time I tried to calibrate. Took me 10 or so tries before it would recognize reverse.

First things first. Reset all your ESC settings to deault, update the ESC, and try it out.

If it still doesn't work, verify the throttle trim center and set both reverse and forward EPA to their max values. That will give the broadest possible signal with neutral perfectly centered. Then, calibrate radio throttle throws to the ESC.

If the ESC still doesn't respond correctly, reload the ESC firmware and reset all ESC settings to default values and recalibrate the ESC/radio.
