BK controller stuck in programming mode! HELP - 08.14.2008, 10:42 PM

It was fine the day before but now when i plug the batteries it makes the first beep to program it. The red jumper is in and i check the solder on it, everything seems fine. What should i do?

Thank

Hmm.. Take the jumper out and see what it does?! That is really wierd, if you cant find a bridged trace somewhere on the board. Also, you might check the jumper itself to make sure it has good contact ie. isn't loose or wobbly.

I'm sorry I can't help you out more. I do need to correct myself from my earlier post:

You would actually be looking for "broken" traces, not "bridged" traces, since it enters programming mode when the jumper is removed. I don't think it'spossible for the programming to cause this, so there must be a trace on the board somewhere that needs to be patched.
