Mike when will extended crt.5 chassis be ready - 09.08.2008, 08:46 PM

Mike, When will the RCM extended chassis set for the Jammin crt.5 be available? Also will the Orion 4500 hardcase battery fit in the included tray?

Not sure on the battery tray size, but to answer mambarustler's question... the RCM chassis is extended 40mm over the stock one.

I've seen pics of e-crt.5s with the newer kit. Did Mike make a smaller run this time or are there other changes being made? I'm planning on getting the latest kit to replace my version 1 RCM crt.5 kit, so I can run larger batts.

I am in Chicago area for a show as of yesterday(Wednesday) and will return next Wednesday - the crt.5 chassis kits will be ready shortly after I return. :)
The battery box on the new crt.5 chassis kits fit pretty much any of the hard case packs on the market. The newer chassis will also fit either of our current battery trays quite easily as well. :)

Thanks for the update Mike. So if I'm going to get some new batts I should make sure they are no bigger than a standard 1/10 hardcase lipo (140 L x 45 W x 25 H)?
