anyone still run Mico-t/b/d ? - 09.13.2008, 09:55 PM

just wondering if anyone still played with theirs i got mine out to play with it during all the rain and bs for this weekend and my stock battery finally crapped out, its a real turd now compared to my brother and gf's (no more wheelies for me) and i was wondering if anyone had tried any of the other nimh packs that are out their for them. we gotten pretty good life out of the losi batts but i was wondering if anyone had found a better nimh pack

i dont feel like blowing the money on lipo since i already have a stock charger with the AC ps mod.

so far i have found:

these are 150mah 4.8v
stock losi batts for $12 ea
atomic batt for $9 ea
yeah racing batt $15 for 2

anyone know of any others?

I've got a couple. The batteries on both of them have also went south. One of the stupid front steering hubs broke on one truck, so now it only has 1 wheel steering . On the other one, I soldered up 4 AAA's in series and zip tied 2 on each side of the truck. It goes very fast and has amazing runtimes (I've only charged it once in like 5 months, tho I don't drive it that much). The only bad thing is that you can't put a body on it this way and I'm not sure if the stock charger works with it or not since I use a different one.

I also got mine out today and ran it since everything was wet outside. Still pretty fun, though I kinda wish I hadn't gotten 2 now. Oh well.

Brijar!!!

ive been running the atmoic BB II motor which has actual bearings and not brass bushings, its surprising quick compared to the stock motor that is already quick.

we had a little track we raced around and now all we do is launch them off this two sided plastic toy launch ramp. its pretty fun, good enough to waste a broing evening here and there.

AWESOME!
I just got done playing with mine and considered posting the same thread. I am having an absolute blast with mine. I run a stock micro with a 380mah 2s lipo. BRUSHLESS IS NOT NECESSARY. Dare I say it. With a stock motor it's ucontrollable with a fresh charge. Lipo is enough. Wheelies all day. 25-30 min of hard running. I got my lipo off e-bay, the same seller is now selling a similar 270mah version

it cost about 100 to go brushless and lipo, haha it not really worth it to me just to have our dog chase it around the house and to paly with it for 5 mins every couple weeks.
