I have one of these from when I was building computers

is 12v dc ok to cool esc?

if you wire it into say 4s lipos and run it off the 14.8v you should get a nice 4 cfm for awhile lol Run it off the say 5v rx box you wouldnt dry a gnats butt in summer. Have you seen these a fellow member linked ? http://www.buyextras.com/su30dc5vmale.html

hmm looks nice...that should dry a natts butt pretty easy..lol

It's rated for 0.6, which is 0.05A @ 12v. Personally, I'd use an LM7812 (12v regulator) right off the lipos. Even with 2 or 3 of those, the regulator will be fine heat-wise. The regulator is a 3 terminal type so it's really easy to hook up: http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5377

I was going to recommend the LM7812 but I just wasnt sure. The LM7818 coming out next month might be better. WTF ?
