couple questions on the MMM - 09.25.2008, 08:04 PM

hey guys since the monster is running for so cheap right now i was thinking about picking one up but i had a couple probably already answered questions

1. will it do ok on 2s? or is it a 3-6s controller?
2. if/when it dies on me do i have to pay a replacement charge or will castle hook it up for the first year or whatever
3. i havent heard many people running their own becs why is this?

thanks for all the help.

Buy it.

1. It will work.
2. CC will replace it.
3. There are people running BECs. The MMM has a built-in BEC but has issues right now.

Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)

Supermaxx with Mach .26

It is a really good esc, works better than any of my other escs. Startup is as good as a quark, and it offers more adjustability for half the price. It does not get hot, and as long as the bec survives it does not appear to blow up very often...

I have a few and consider them the best escs I have, but I have not had a chance to test Lutach's 10s esc, so my felling may change
