The best bashing tire?? - 09.09.2008, 11:13 AM

I have a fairly tricked out E maxx. Quark, fiegio, flm chassis, aluminum everything.... I'm till running the factory rims and tires, the rims are now cracking so I need a replacement set. My question is what is the best bashing tire out there for asphalt, grass, dirt and gravel. I was looking at the newer style revo talons or maybe a set or losi Zombie maxx tires. Which is better? Any other suggestions?

I have a brand new set of ZombieMaxx tires with stock Traxxas rims Id be willing to sell. Not even glued yet. I bought them a while back and wound up not needing them cuz my first set is just not wearing out.

PM me if your interested.

BTW. I really like the Zombies for all around tires. Great in grass, dirt and pavement. Still the best all around tire IMO.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

If you want the Revo Talon tires, I have got six of them... all you need to do is pay for shipping. PM me if you want them.

What do you mean by taping? Is it the same tech used to stop balloning?

Enjoy, and when you get everything finished, maybe we can go bash. I have a few vehicles done and am working on a portable charging station. Where do you usually go to play?

I like PL's Badland too but found them heavy, I ran Losi's Zombie Maxx on my Savage and taped them as well, when the tire wants to balloon it'll expand to the width of the tape and hold the tire flatter, meaning less ballooning on the bottom.

Any where I can, but mostly the southshore levees. Maybe we could get a few of us in the area together?

I've been running 40 size Big Joes on a similar setup for a while now and they are great. Pretty big but they show little wear after a lot of use, even on some street runs. Haven't tried Badlands though. I might have to check them out.
