Is it possible, MMM v1 works, but kills receiver? - 10.07.2008, 05:12 PM

I have wondered about this, recently at an event after running fine for the past heat, I went to turn my vehicle on and I had nothing. Initially thinking my V1 MMM died I put in my spare MM modded, but noticed I still had nothing. I went with the spare receiver I had, and it all came to life. Went back to the MMM V1, and everything was fine.

I am leaning towards the receiver just dying, but I am curious, has anyone had a receiver die with the MMM still working fine, and been lead to believe that its the MMM that caused the issue?

My V1 is still working by the way. But as receivers are not cheap, curious if I need to look into this.

Here is my setup:

MMM V1
Neu 1512 2.5D or Medusa 2000Kv (issue happed with neu)
Nomadio Tranceiver
Airtronics 94358 servo
RC8 with RCPD conversion
PolyRC 4S 6000mah battery

never seen an intermitant problem with mmm's. i would think if it did sooomething it would do "it" every time. only one reciever bad soooooo i would guess it was the reciever. they get exposed to all sorts of crap on our electric rides. can u take it apart and check for corossion? my spektrums actually get flled up with dirt even in my nitro ride
