Castlecreation Controller with drag brake? - 06.09.2008, 06:15 AM

Hi,

is there a smaller ESC than Mamba Max with a drag brake function on it?
The website does not help very well.

Thank you

Titan

PS My MMM works fine!

I've seen a few crawler setups that run the 18th castle controllers - Mamba 25, sidewinder micro, mamba micro pro. I'm pretty sure they all have the same programming options as their 1/10th scale brothers.

The Mamba 25 does use the Castle Link and has options for drag brake, punch control, timing, and throttle curves like the bigger controlers. Its going to be limited on the amount of power it can handle, but it is tunable. I don't have the other mini controllers so I'm not sure about their options.

I have a new question about drak brakes.
my mmm show me on castle link a 100% drag brake.

in the CASTLEDRIVER’SED instruction show me only 40%.
i saw in past max 40% drag brake on Sidewinder Micro.

40% because it is a small esc? but the mmm is too big for my crawler.

Is there an other (CC) Esc with 100% drag brake?

thx again

lol sidewinder micro to mmm is going from the smallest car esc they make to the largest. what about the 1/10th? a lot of people run sidewinders or mamba max's.

Sidewinder Micro has 100% drag brake, at least with the 1.20 firmware.

Cheers,
Wolfgang

I use a sidewinder in my crawler, works great and has 100% drag brake. With the 833kv outrunner motor and 3s lipo it will barely move when pushed with the 100% setting. Great esc for a crawler, never gets warm.
