BB Gun / Airsoft (New toys)

It all started off so insistently enough, some RC building, then came the knowledge and skill (some what) of fabrication, Somehow this led me down the path to paintball and no paintball has now led me down the path to air soft..

It’s fricken WAY cool and CHEEP TOO!... who knew??.

I bought my first gun off ebay for $160.. JD640

It's a fully auto that shoots 15 shoots per sec @ 440 FPS, the main mag holds 300 shoots and a got a big one that holds 5,000 shoots (insine).. It runs off nimh batteries, I added the front flashlight, the rail guards, the silencer and the scope (red and green dot) total investment with everything is just over $300.00









The second gun in a Mac 11, it shoot at 320 FPS, this gun alos works off gas and it has blowback feature that re cocks the firing pin every time you shoot it!. IE works just like the real gun does..
This thing will empty a full mag (48) shoot in less than 3 seconds so I had to buy two other mags just to extend the fun out another 8 sec LOL.LOL under $200 for this toy and the silencer & mags









Total investment in both is under $500.00 and 4,000 bio-degradable shoots is like $14.00


OOoo and the best part is!!

I can use these in my own back yard!, I bought a big canvas cloth tarp and use that as the backstop I hang up the targets in front of it and shoot in my backyard..

Actually two of my neighbors also went out and got some new toys as well, so now I’ll have up to four adults and two kids firing (shotguns, pistols, submachine guns and sniper riffles in the backyard.. Got to love my neighborhood..


So what BB / Airsoft gun do you have ?? or am I the only GEEK here ??

It good to hear from you Shaun. Had us wondering what you were up to and if you were ok. Good to know you just out buying more weapons. Legally and not out of someones trunk.

Those sound like a lot off fun. They look like the real deal. You know what I mean.

Got a cheap Crossman Autoair II pistol. It's been in the magazine rack next to the toilet for the last year. Not sure why it's in there. Maybe it helps me relax or something. I do know why there is a pencil sharpener is in there.

Nice couple toys you picked up there Shawn. I used to airsoft back in the day (about 6 or 7 years ago). And I still have my gun too... its a gas Ruger shooting 470FPs. You won't be using these guns on your rc's will you?

470fps...sounds painful. I used to play with a couple of buddies but we all had walmart guns that claimed 300fps. call me a girl, but those things hurt from close range.(10ft) 470 could kick ass from a distance.

you have me fired up and your not the only geek in here....lol...when I was in Jr high we used to have BB gun wars where we would wear goggles and padding and we would use the single shot BB rifles, than in a Popular Mechanics mag they had this fully auto BB machine gun that ran off a large freon canister, so I had to buy one and snuck it into our competition and it was soon outlawed by my friends......:-)

I love the airsoft, But know its about the pellets you buy, some are a jar of light weight different colored ones ( I have no idea the weight the kids buy them) then they have the white clay colored ones the shoot 10 times faster and carry more weight. I roll with a fully auto ak 7 cell nimh. nothing as nice as yours,a sport mart special, and a co2 baretta thing you cant hit anyone in the face with. In this neighborhood we all have airsofts, getting a shot or 2 in the butt taking out the garbage on saturday night is fair game. Just no face shots, when winter comes its worse, little kids make forts just to shoot you while you shovel the driveway, all in good fun, but the co2 guns I dont shoot at them unless they are 200 ft away as to not put an eye out... ok rambling, love airsoft

Nice.. I know that gun and maker, I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures if you post them. That gun shoots out at what 380 FPS or is it 410 ??

Thanks again for the GREAT idea on the flamethrower!! I posted some teaser video in the project X spot.. LOL.LOL all weapons (as far you know) wink, wink LOL, have been purchased legally I can assure you!.. Hee, Heem Hee..

It’s blast Sir, it cheep and very fun to fire 1000 rounds of shoots, plinking / destroying cans, milk gallon crates, ect and the Boy and Girl like to shoot them as well, it so it’s given me a opportunity to teach them about gun safety, that way if they are ever at one of there friends house and they pull out DAD’s real gun they both know enough to not got shoot..

The pistols are quite fun, my neighbor has two of them and I'm thinking of pending $115 bucks on a full auto glock.. LOL.LOL.. I'm not even going to ask about the pencil sharpener in the bathroom, every man thrown is in own kingdom.. LOL.LOL..

For what it worth, these guns are pretty much steel, not too much plastic, they are both actual size and weight of the real guns..

OOO Cool please bring you gun to the next bash I need to simulate defending fire when I attack the town, I plan on filming it at our next bash..

Please!!! Don’t kid yourself that will make you bleed if you get hit under 120’. I’ve read about people using 480 in sniper rifles but they are only allowed to shoot at people at 150’ or father with that kind of velocity.

That’s too funny!.. Your such a bastard to your friends.. I love that!! LOL.LOL.. yes in airsoft games people wear pads and everything. Goggles are a MUST I even make the kids wear them in the back when they target shooting..

Got any shoot of your bad boy ?? Would love to see the gun..

Woot. Woot, wooot.. LOL that GREAT Jay!.. I'm having a blast with it too..

I know / have been told that weigh makes a difference, well since I'm just plinking in the back yard and shooting about 50 feet I use the best Bio-degradable BB’s I can buy, a bag of 4000 is $12-14 bucks and the are the 6mm 0.20g ones, they are designed for battery powered airsoft guns so they work flawlessly. My next thing is to learn how to adjust the “hoop-up” feature. This things puts a backspin on the bb and you can control in up and down / left and right.. LOL.LOL got to love it..

Soo you got a bad boy AK too.. there are a lot of those out there, they are way COOL.. LOL so trash night is tough in your neighborhood, that GREAT!..
