Link to the roller? some are in better shape than others- dont want to buy something that needs alot of work doing to get it into good shape. The hvmaxx system will work, and is a good beginners entry level intro to BL, but it depends on the price really.

Most people will say to enjoy and appreciate a conversion, you should do the conversion yourself, so that you learn alot about your rig- makes fixing and troublehsooting easier.

The 8T on ebay looks fine- a nice head start there but the final sale price could be a factor. Dunno much about mbx5t, I'd say read a round and see how people like them- the 8T is well liked though.

I actually don't like that 8T. The two heaviest things on a conversion are the battery and the motor and this particular one has both on the same side. In my opinion it will be very unbalanced because of this. You might be able to revise the layout . . . otherwise I don't think you'll be happy when you're in the air.

By the way, what will this truggy be used for? Will it be racing or bashing? If it's racing, then you'll want to get a nicer motor like the Neu. Otherwise you'll probably have heat issues. Besides, you can pick up a 1515 on ebay for under $200. Hope that info helps!!

that 8T looks in decent shape, but that conversion as Sower said is way off balance, battery too far forward, motor on the same side, it would jump nose diving to the left. new roller is $500 another $100 to convert it (rcm mount + tray to fit), then $150 ish for a MMM plus $60 Feigao, $110 Medusa or $230 Neu. Wait a week or 2 and something muh better will come along, or save up another $200 and make it yourself brand spanking new

Thanks for the imput
I wont buy this one...
Im still wondering which truggy to get... i found some mugens with a good price.....
Im not in a hurry, i wont run it outside until next year, since here (chicagoland area) is too cold and there is snow all the time. If i had a waterproff esc i would.. but dont want to risk a bl setup..

If you guys find anything that u think is a good deal and that would suit my needs feel free to post here...

I need everything except radio and servos

Well, there's all kinds of options out there, but it will depend on what you're willing to spend. What's your budget?

Im trying to go as low as i can, whitout getting something bad...
I already define some of the stuff im getting
A hyperion EOS0606i charger 150,00
A motor mount from rc monster ~50,00
A MMM 160,00
A feigao 8xl or 9xl 70,00
A battery i dont know which one yet but thinking about tru rc 4s or 5s 1p
And a used chassis

I think im lookin in about 800,00

Im not going to be a hardcore racer, but whenever i go to the track dont want to get beat by nitros either

Im might look into some buggys too.. ebay has much more buggys than truggies

I own a mugen mbx-5 and let me tell you, they are tough. I bash mine very hard and I have only broke an a arm and bent a shock shaft in 2 yrs. The truck and the buggy are build w/the same quality components.

As far a s a motor goes, a Medusa is a cheaper alternative to a Neu and half the price...they are very well liked by many forum members. I own a Neu and a Medusa. Both are very good..If you are racing, go w/the Neu,...if you are doing both, well, the choice is yours.

Mike sellls some batteries here that are very good...don't skimp on the batts! You get what you pay for!

good luck!
