Not a fan of either. The e-revo is to "traxxas" looking. People who dislike traxxas will get what I mean. And the Flux Savage is just a savage with some custom fabricated parts to make it able to run brushless. Nothing special to me....

X2. You will likely be happy with either truck, but that VXL belongs in some 2 wheel drive stadium truck, not a 4 wheel drive MT.

savage is for bashing, ver tough looking and has some kinda weird "feel" about it when jumping or getting the suspension squashed down.
you can do more "jack@$$" stuff with it...basicly it's a true monster truck

the revo is responsive and racier...but it is traxxas but i still like it
i'd say stock the revo is a bad basher

but when beefed up the revo makes a good basher but astill has a race truck feel while the savage will always be a basher..and a good one at that

Just remember the savage handles like a brick. Nice truck but it's true. You have to decide what it is you are using it for and go from there. BTW, like the others said, leave the VXL in the 2wd 3 pound trucks, it's not for a 10lb+ 4WD MT.

I think either truck is a great choice, both have strengths and weaknesses.

If you are strictly off road jumping and what not, go Savage. If you will run a little bit of everywhere on/off/whatever, then go Revo.

No matter how you slice it the revo is not very durable stock, it cannot take the abuse the savage can. If you're not going to always bash, get the revo though. If you are going to do anything hardcore (like I like to do) get the savage.

I don't know what some of you do to your revo's, but mine stock have always held up fine. Of course I usually don't try to jump the grand canyon or ram head first into a brick wall at full throttle.
