Ofna Jammin X1 CRT Brush less

Parts
Ofna Jammin X1 CRT chassis
Proline Crime fighters foams are not strapped
RCM X1 motor mount great fit and finish
RCM servo mount
RCM battery tray next one will be custom
RCP center diff top plate
62t spur stock, mod 1 RCM 13t pinion
20k? center 7k front 3k back

Hitec digital servo
Nomadio Sensor with full telemetry with 3 temp sensors (batt ESC motor) rpm/speed sensor
Traxxas Slash waterproof receiver box was able to fit the wires in, still needs Silica pack for any moisture. Was able to mount this to the RCM servo mount using 4mm x 10mm screw in the RCM antenna hole and a longer 3mm x 12mm in the servo holder holes lined up perfectly, used transponder holder for new antenna holder
Mamba Monster V3 ESC
Castle 2200kv motor
4s Zippy R 4800ma pack 1st run 33mph max
5s Zippy H 5000ma pack 1st run 43mph max
5 cell 1300ma receiver battery not convinced of BECs first one owned fried within 2 runs on other setup thankfully wasn’t hooked to receiver

1st Run Dec 28 2008
Surrey Central 5 level parkade concrete vary wet low traction and cold 3 celeus lots of high speed with obstacle course of cones

4s Zippy R 4800ma pack 1st run 33mph
Battery run down to 50% about
MMM fan never came on and temp was 140f max
Minimum tire ballooning in front, check wheel nuts often
This was fast with great throttle response, would be excellent on track

5s Zippy H 5000ma pack 1st run 43mph
Battery run down to 50% about
MMM fan never came on and temp was 145f max
Lots of tire ballooning in front, check wheel nuts often
This thing is vary fast on 5s, would be good on track but require careful throttle response

MMM settings
Some cogging will work it out
Custom brake curve long low curve 0-70L @0-30H
Linear throttle curve
Reverse set at 30%
Timing set to custom 7%
Auto lipo seems to work well
Punch Control set at 70% may set to 0%

Day ended with receiver battery run down, the one battery that I didn’t charge
Looking to get some Road Rage tires for more parkade runs

Would like to see this in the dirt

Full body

Straight on

The new power plant

Congrats on the conversion! Ditch the rx pack! v3 bec has been a solid performer. That might help to clean up some of the wiring. Of course with 3 sensor wires that doesn't help. Not by any means criticizing, just looks like a lot of wires everywhere.

Yes there is a lot of wires but for know until I feel comfortably it will be a necessary evil. Sensors are lipo voltage, rpm/speed, 3 temp sensors and RX voltage there is also a extra servo lead soldered onto the MMM throttle lead so I don't have to open the cover of the RX box to program the MMM. That Traxxas Slash box fit so well. We will see about the MMM BEC in a few months. There is so much snow up here doesn't leave many places to test.
