New Battery Tray - 01.09.2006, 08:15 PM

Tekin elctronics makes a killer battery tray. With this tray you can equilize up to 8 cells at one time. This is great for us non lipo guys :L: .

I now what you mean. When i was running 12 cells the novak tray was great but now that i run 14 cells it's no good. So the tekin tray will be great.

I just got my tekin battery trays today. I'm equlizing all my batterys right know, then i'm putting them back on the charger for 5min before storing them . Monday is the next time i will use them at the track, & i will use the trays again before chargeing them.

You can but i would'nt recomend it because it only dicharges at 2 amps per cell. It would take forever to dicharge a fully charged pack. I would use a light bulb or some other discharger with a voltage cut off divise, that will stop the discharge around 5 or 6 volts.. your supposed to put the battery's in the tray to equlize them before charging. So they take a better charge.
