Buggy Conversion section

The search feature is very good on this forum so be sure to make use of it.

Pricing up the parts is easy as Mike sells most, if not all of them in his store (click the banner at the top of the page).

Be sure to make use of BrianG's calculator too, it will aid you greatly with motor/battery voltage and gearing selection once you know your desired speed.

As I am sure that you will read, you can spend quite a bit on a conversion. You get what you pay for so shop wisely. I have converted 3 vehicles over and love them all...one being an 1/8 scale mugen. As Neil stated above, Mike sells everything you need for your conversion.

If you plan on running the v3 MMM esc, you shouldn't need a ccbec, although it wouldn't hurt if you used it.

One suggestion, BUY QUALITY BATTERIES! Good batteries do make a big difference on how your system performs. Mike sells may different configurations in may different price ranges.

The Hyperion line of chargers are widely used by many here and well liked....I own one one and love it.

Best of luck and welcome to the forums!
