Press fit end cover?

I just got this from Mike and it looks great. Problem I am having it getting it on. No matter how hard I push it will not go on. I already emailed him asking but was hoping someone on here could shed some light on it. I took the Medusa stickers off that are on the end of it thinking that may have been creating a issue. Still nothing.
