Well I hope those tires from tower aren't what your planning on running! Those are for a Monster Truck, they're 5.5" tall vs. 3.5" stock on the CRT.5. I wouldn't have picked the vileneon system, but to each his own. You could have gotten a sidewinder and a feigao L motor for about the same. You will be needing a battery tray, Mike makes some nice ones, and a Mod1 pinion and a bore reducer to mount it to the vileneon motor both the pinion and reducer are available from RC-Monster. Prolly a 14-15 tooth if your gonna stick with the stock size tire, if you go to a 1/10 truck tire a 13-14 tooth. That will put you in the high 30's for speed, not sure how the temps will be on the motor with that gearing though, I'd start low and if temps are ok go up a bit but not much

Sorry The shopping cart that came up was mine! I can't see what's in your cart to know what you got. It needs to be a MOD1 pinion

That won't work! 32p is Mod.8 You need MOD1. Best place to get them is RC-Monster. All the MOD1 pinions I have ever seen are for a 5mm motor shaft and the vileneon is a 1/8" shaft so you will need a bore reducer as well

Make sure it the Extra hard type pinion or you will just chew it up in a matter of a pack or 2.

I agree. Just order from RC-Monster and get the righ stuff from the start.

I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

I would order the bore reducer and pinions from here if there was bore reducers in stock. But I did screw up by not asking more questions before hand.
