our club's new track i designed - 02.06.2009, 12:36 AM

Well we have been working on it since the first week of january and its almost finished, i didnt take these pics but i will definetly get some better pics and alost of action shots this saturday, just thought id throw these up here, to tease all you guys that are snowed in wishing you could play with you trucks......

here is the track layout drawing, and then 3 pics (one towards each side and one up the middle), notice how big the features are.......its looks so badass in person, easily the nicest track in a 250 mile radius, everything is SOOOO smooth and fast, tons of great places to pass, really a great "racers" track and also and good bashers track because of the massive jumps and features.

it isnt so filled out like the drawing, there are gaps between the lanes and plenty of space for turn marshall's and to keep it all double piped to eliminate track cutters....

and this track is fast and easy compared to what we tore down, the old track had tons of crap everywhere and in every corner and took a long time to get it dwon where you could concetrate on racing and not just making a lap...

btw whole track is 130x110, the front tripple is over 30 feet long, the big stepup in the back is over 20 feet long, (peak to peak measuerments on both).... all the lanes are 12-15 feet wide. the track fixes the biggest problem we had before hand in that it drains water, and boy does this track drain water good now.

its two hours for me to drive each way and its the closest one, so it my "home" track, after i move into my new (to me) house this summer that ill be leasing to attend a new school i will only be 45 minutes away to that will SOOO much nicer.

if there is anyone in the surrounding states we will be having a BIG Money race on April 4th 100% Plus payback, yea thats right 100% of the entryfees PLUS added money, we will start running at 11AM and run until we are done, depending on how many we have we might run 3 rounds(probably will) so plan on spending the day with us, we will cut off the entries at 100, u can preregister with brad at the hobby shop, the entry fee is $20 per class and $10 for sportsman(no payback on sportsman)we will pay 50%1st 30%2nd and 20%3rd and added money for 4th on top 2 classes

classes will be
nitro buggy
nitro Truggy
1/8 electric (buggy or truggy allowed)
sportsman
electric 4wd buggy

estimated payout in the buggy main wiht 30 entries would be as follows:
1st $300
2nd $180
3rd $120
4th $depends on turnout

races are ran using an amb system, personals are recomended and welcome. and we have lights if it goes into the night which we are sure it will. so with the low entry fee, big payout, and while the price of gas is down, if might be time to come check out a new track.

so if you think your the hot stuff in your state bring it out and see how you stack up might take home a large chunk of change.....plus there will be prodcut giveaways and FOOD.

pm me if you want more info on the race.
